Materials
Our timber doors are made from 100% solid Pacific Ash timber, which is sustainably sourced from Canada. This gives our doors a rich character, warmth and unique natural grain, as well as excellent strength and durability. We also use commercial grade aluminium for our Zone Living and Bona Vista doors, and many of our security screens, for outstanding performance and resilience. Other ranges incorporate the latest in fibreglass technology to deliver the ultimate in weather-resistant doors that can stand up to the elements. We pride ourselves on the quality of our materials because this is what sets our products apart.
Innovations
We have several offerings that are unique to Doors Plus and designed to give you a little something extra when it comes to safety, style and convenience. This includes our exclusive SafeGlass, which is 500% stronger than normal glass and will crumble rather than shatter if broken. Finishing
While many of our doors can be supplied raw, we understand that painting or staining a door takes time, patience and skill. At Doors Plus, we offer a professional painting and staining service that guarantees a stunning, smooth and even finish. We can either finish your doors with a rich maple stain to bring out the natural beauty of the timber, or paint them for you so that they’re ready to install. We use state of the art machinery to achieve the highest quality finish, applying up to five coats. It’s a look that simply can’t be achieved by hand – and it’s fast!
Hardware & Framework
As well as our extensive collection of doors for every space and taste, we offer all the hardware and framework you need to complete your renovation. From knobs, levers and pull handles in a range of designs and finish options, to hinges and sliding tracks in both rustic and contemporary styles, you can complement your doors with your choice of hardware to enhance your home style.
