Internal Dining Room Doors

The dining room is a central hub of any home. It is a place to come together with family at the start and end of each day. It is a place to socialise with friends and occasionally it may even be used as the home office or homework station. Your dining room doors need to have the ability to create just the right environment, throughout each situation, all while keeping with your décor.

At Doors Plus you will find a vast range of interior doors suitable for your dining room space, whether you choose a single or double doorway, installed hinged, sliding or folding, our team of qualified carpenters can help you to create the right fit for your home.

Depending on the size of your opening, your dining room doors can make a real style statement. Glazed French doors will create a cosy and classic look, double doors on a barn door track create a feature wall when opened or closed and the sleek lines of the New Yorker range reflect a modern and chic style.

If your living space is open plan, but you’d like to be able to close off and create a dedicated dining-room, our Zone Living collection offers stylish and innovative sliding, folding and stacking options for wide and tall spaces.

Get in the zone

Our revolutionary Zone Living collection gives you complete freedom and flexibility in how you use your dining area. For sociable, open plan hospitality, simply slide, fold or stack your doors away, but when you want a more intimate dinner party experience you can close your doors and set the tone. Our aluminium Zone Living doors can be finished in black, grey, white or woodgrain, to suit your décor, and the double glazed panels help to create a peaceful and sophisticated atmosphere.

Flexible living that’s always on trend

For understated sliding or folding doors that blend seamlessly into your décor, we offer the Zone Living solution in our timeless Shaker style. The minimalist character of the Shaker design is ideal for both traditional and contemporary homes, and can create a consistent flow between your kitchen cabinet doors and your dining-room décor.

Know when to fold

We offer a wide selection of bi-fold or multi-fold doors so that you can close off your dining-room for intimate and elegant dinners, or open up your space for family use throughout the day. Depending on your opening, you can combine two or more panels from our Ashton, Picton or Zone Living ranges. Folding doors are also an elegant solution for tight spaces or dining-room storage.

Contemporary style that packs a punch

Our Glengary barn doors make for a stunning feature in any dining-room, with a unique style that works in both traditional and contemporary homes. Beautifully crafted from Pacific Ash timber, these striking doors come in four different designs and in single or double options. Whether you choose sliding or hinged barn doors, they are sure to be a talking point at your next dinner party.

Front Door Review

The sales were pleasant and nice people to work with. Until they finished, they washed up and vacuumed, and they’re the best traders I’ve ever had in this house. I can truly vouch for the jingle of Doors Plus No Fuss.

Outdoor Bifold Panoramic Door Review

I could not be happier. I mean, I knew that the Panoramic Bifolds would look great, but just the amount of light and how much of the back yard I can see is incredible.

Yes, we offer a range of internal door styles that can be custom made to your size. However, we also have a wide selection of doors in standard sizes, which have been designed so that they can be trimmed slightly to fit most openings.
If you opt for bi-fold doors, we can combine multiple pairs together for wider openings.

Doors installed into dining rooms can range from solid timber doors, which can be stained or painted, to our popular Shaker series. The Shaker range is a solid joinery construction with an MDF skin. You can choose doors with glass, solid panels, or even mirrored options.
For something sleek, contemporary and versatile, our Aluminium Zone Living range can be considered for dining room doors. These sliding, folding, stacking or hinged doors feature an aluminium frame and toughened glass. The frame can be finished in metal tone, white or woodgrain.

There are two factors to consider when thinking about the configuration of the doors into your dining room: how much space you have available and the look that you are trying to achieve.
Single or double hinged French doors are an elegant choice for creating a grand opening, while the glass panels allow plenty of light to filter through the room.
Sliding doors are a good choice when there is limited space available around the table as they don’t take up extra floor space when open. The door slides along a track which is fixed to the wall, so they slide seamlessly out of the way.
Bi-fold or concertina doors can also be considered if space is limited. They consist of panels that fold away to one or both sides. Multiple panels can be joined together for wider openings.
The Zone Living range features hinged, sliding and bi-fold configurations, as well as a 3 panel stacking configuration.

Yes, dining room doors can be used to separate the dining room and kitchen areas, as well as the dining room and the living area. They may also separate the dining room from a hallway. If your home is relatively open plan, our Zone Living range offers the opportunity to close off your dining room for a more intimate dining experience when it suits you.

Any of the door styles offered in our interior door range can be installed as dining room doors. Some of our most popular options are the Ashfield bi-fold range, the Shaker series in both glass and solid panelled designs, and our Zone Living collection, which features double glazed decorative panels in sliding, stacking or bi-fold configurations.
